AFC Medical Committee meets at Football House

With exactly five months to go for the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Medical Conference to take centre stage in New Delhi, the AFC Medical Committee met at the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Headquarters in Football House on Monday.

India plays host to this high level “evidence based science & medicine” Conference for the first time in South and Central Asia.

The 5th AFC Medical Conference, held every four years is the first-of-its-kind in India to be held from April 2 – 4, 2015 at JW Mariott, Aerocity, New Delhi, with an expected attendees of 800-1,000 including International delegates.

On Sunday, a tripartite agreement was signed between AFC, AIFF and Sri Ramachandra Arthroscopy & Sports Science Centre (SRASSC) was signed making the medical institution the first to come on board for the mega conference on football medicine.

The participants will have exposure to latest medical equipment and technologies, pharmaceuticals, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, fitness equipment as well as health products during the three day programme.
