VIDEO: England 0-3 Germany [Women's Friendly | Full Match]

Germany defeated England in an International Women’s Friendly Match at the legendary Wembley Stadium on Sunday. The prestigious encounter was the first match for the England Ladies at Wembley since it re-opened in 2007.

A record 45,619 crowd in attendance welcomed both sides for the match as the England fans hoped high that the “The Lionesses” would be able to record their first victory over Germany.

But their hopes were shattered just six minutes into the game when Alex Scott deflected Simone Laudehr’s header into the back of the own net. Celia Sasic (12′, 45′) sealed the 3-0 away win for the German team with a first-half brace.
