Anananta Kumar Ghosh named new Mohammedan Sporting coach

Mohammedan Sporting Club General Secretary Moinuddin Bin Moksud has announced the appointment of Anananta Kumar Ghosh as the new Chief Coach of the club. The announcement was made during a a press conference held at Mohammedan Sporting Club tent on Friday evening.

Ghosh, an employee of the Sports Authority of India and a holder of the AFC A Coaching Lisence, has coached both India and West Bengal at junior level.

“It is an honour for me to coach a illustrias club like Mohammedan. I am here to take the challange and prove that I can coach a big team like Mohammedan,” Ghosh said.

Moinuddin Bin Moksud stated that Ghosh’s predecessor Tope Ayodeji Fuja would assist Ghosh, while the club also confirmed the signing of Daniel Bidemi and Kivi Zhimomi.

Further the club announced that the Annual Mohammedan Sporting Day would take place on January 3, 2015 – the foundation day of the club – while a Life Time Achivement Award will be presented to a legendary footballer for his contributions towards the club on the special occasion.

Mohammedan Sporting Club is also planning to present warm clothes to the grounds man of twenty other clubs of Kolkata Maidan.

Mohammedan Sporting Club will start training under Anananta Kumar Ghosh on December 1.
