FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015 – The Draw is out!

The Final Draw for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 took place at the Canadian Museum of History in Ottawa on Saturday.

The 24 teams that have qualified for the tournament have been divided into six groups of four. The list of participants is headed by defending World Champions Japan and hosts Canada, besides FIFA Women’s World Ranking leaders USA and second-placed Germany.

The number of participating teams has been expanded from 16 to 24 teams for the very first time and there will be 52 matches during the tournament.

The FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 will kick-off when hosts Canada take on China on June 6, while the final is scheduled to take place at the B.C. Place Stadium, Vancouver on July 5.
