Mumbai FC sign Amoes and Reisangmei Vashum

I-League side Mumbai FC have added midfielders Amoes and Reisangmei Vashum to their roster.

Vashum  was ecstatic upon signing for Mumbai as he said, “It’s an exciting city. I know there are a lot of football fans in the city and I look forward to seeing them at the Cooperage.”

The 26 year old added, “The club has a fantastic coaching staff and a great set of players. I can’t wait to play with them during the season ahead.”

The Manipuri brings with him invaluable experience in midfield. He has previously played for Churchill Brothers, East Bengal and Pune FC.

Amoes becomes the second player after Sampath Kutty Mani to join Mumbai FC from last season’s I-League champions – Bengaluru FC. The 20 year old was delighted to have signed for the Mumbai team. “Mumbai FC is a fantastic opportunity for me to showcase my abilities. My aim is to learn as much as I can under the gaffer’s guidance and prove my worth.”

The Bangalorean added, “This will be my first professional stint outside my city (Bengaluru) and I am really really looking forward to it.”

Team Manager Henry Picardo confirmed the signings, “Yes, we have roped in Vashum and Amoes. They are really good football players and provide strength-in-depth to the squad.

Vashum and Amoes have been handed kit numbers 7 and 21 respectively.
