Nigerian midfielder Ogba Kalu joins Sporting Clube de Goa

Sporting Clube de Goa has completed their four foreigner quota after Nigerian midfielder Ogba Kalu rejoined the club at the SCG Headquarters, in Panjim on Saturday.

Kalu had initially signed for the Flaming Oranje in 2011 and completed three fruitful seasons, where he finished as the club’s top goal scorer on two occasions.

With the Federation Cup about to kick off, Sporting Goa moved swiftly to extend his stay in the Goan capital and utilize his valuable experience as a role model for the young talented players to learn from.

Kalu joins Trinidad & Tobago international Anthony Wolfe, Boima Karpeh (Australia) and Kofi Dankwae (Niger) as the foreign contingency.

“It feels great to be back,” remarked a smiling Ogba Kalu during a tough training session.
