Gurpreet Singh Sandhu’s debut leads to hoaxes in media

India U-23 national team goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu caught the attention of the public as the news on his first team debut for Norwegian Tippeligaen side Stabæk Fotball made it to all media channels – but with wrong information!

Gurpreet was fielded in a friendly match against Follo FK and not in a competitive league match as communicated by all major media in India.
