Mohammedan Sporting Club Football Academy launched on Sunday

I-League 2nd Division side Mohammedan Sporting Club have officially opened the Mohammedan Sporting Club Football Academy at the Mohammedan Sporting Ground on Sunday evening.

Over 70 young footballers were there for the first training session, as the vision of Mohd. Qamaruddin, the club’s Hony. Ground Secratary, came true. Qamaruddin attended the official launch and encouraged youngsters.

Mohammedan Sporting Club has appointed former India international Abid Hossain along with Abid Hossain, Abu Kuresh and Biswajit Mondal to train the young talents at the Academy. The current Chief Coach of Mohammedan Sporting Club’s senior team, Ananta Kumar Ghosh, will be the instructure of the Mohammedan Sporting Club Football Academy.

The practice sessions of MDSC Football Academy will be conducted each Saturday and Sunday. Interested kids can join the Academy for very minimum admission fee.
