United SC down Mohammedan Sporting to win Sanhati Gold Cup 2015

Rajesh Barman and Jagannath Orao scored for United SC – B (Pathachakra) as they defeated Mohammedan Sporting Club in the Sanhati Gold Cup 2015 final at Amta, Howrah on Saturday.

The final started with fast pace football from both sides. United SC scored the first goal of the match in 29th minute through Rajesh Barman, but their lead was negated three minutes later when Daniel Bidemi found the equaliser for Mohammedan from the spot, following a foul on Somide Adelaja.

Six minutes prior to half-time United SC restored the lead through Jagannath Orao, to secure United SC a 2-1 lead at half-time.

After resumption Mohammedan went for an all out effort to score the equalising goal but the Black Panthers were simply unlucky to not found that all important goal despite several chances created in front the United SC goalmouth.
