India will clash with neighbours Nepal in the 2018 FIFA World Cup and 2019 AFC Asian Cup Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 1 on May 12 and 17.

Both sides faced each other in a FIFA Friendly Match at Siliguri in November 2013 when Sunil Chhetri and Clifford Miranda secured a 2-0 win for the Indian team.
