India U-14 team arrives in Tajikistan and conduct first training

The India U-14 national team landed safely at the Dushanbe International Airport, Tajikistan on a hot and windy Wednesday morning (May 20, 2015).

The U-14 national team, which will be participating in the AFC U-15 Festival of Football 2015 Central and South Region, did not let tremors deter their spirit and started acclimatizing to the weather of the region from their first day itself, as Head Coach Bibiano Fernandes led the team into a training session on Wednesday evening. The Indian colts stay safe and out of the dangers of the natural calamity.

Besides India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan would also be participating in the Festival, which is slated to take place from May 20 to 27, 2015.
