Mizoram crowned AIFF Sub-Junior Girls’ U-15 Champions

Mizoram emerged as the champions of the 2015 AIFF Sub-Junior Girls’ Under-15 National Football Championship after a 3-0 win against Haryana in the final played out at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha.

Elizabeth (30th & 66th) and B. Vanlal (62nd) scored the goals to hand Mizoram a comfortable win and to secure the silverware.

Saswat Mishra I.A.S. (Commissioner cum Secretary, Department of Sports & Youth Services) was present as the Chief Guest. Asirbad Behera (Hon’y Secretary, OOA & OCA), Indu Choudhury (Manager, Women’s Football, AIFF) and Pankaj Lochan Mohanty (Working President, CDAA) were present as the Guests of Honour.

Bijoy Das (Vice President, FA Odisha), Bhakta Ballav Das (Vice President, FA Odisha), Tadit Kumar Rout (Vice President, FA Odisha), Dillip Kumar Sahoo (Vice President, FA Odisha), Avijit Paul(Joint Secretary, FA Odisha), Sangeeta Sharma (Joint Secretary, FA Odisha) and Sradhnajlai Samantray (National U-14 Girls Team Coach) were also present during the Final along with many other members and guests of the Football Association of Odisha (FAO).
