Saran Sports, one of India’s leading corporate sports event managers, is organising the 19th Saran Corporate Soccer Series 2015, the World’s largest inter-corporate soccer series to be held in Mumbai between May 2015 and February 2016.
The series will bring together Mumbai’s leading corporate houses with close to 200 corporate teams battling it out for glory. The programme will include various formats of the game with exciting innovations, namely:
1. Corporate Soccer 5s (5-A-Side)
2. Corporate Indoor Soccer Challenger (3/4-A-Side)
3. Corporate Soccer League (5-A-Side) – Open
4. Corporate Soccer League (5-A-Side) – Industry Specific
The first tournament will be the Saran Corporate Soccer 5s on May 30/31 at the Western Railway Sports Ground, Lower Parel. Over 60 teams have registered so far. The tournament will be played on a league cum knock-out basis with both Men’s and Women’s teams participating.
Saran Corporate Soccer 5s 2015 is sponsored by Tata Capital, Garnier Men, Franklin Templeton, Carlsberg and Indusind Bank. The associate sponsor is Cadbury Bournville and the event is partnered by Alea International Consulting. The event is conceived and managed by Saran Sports.
This Championship is registered in the Limca Book of Records as the largest and longest running corporate soccer 5s event in the world for amateurs.
