Goa FA to conduct AFC Goalkeeping Level 1 Course in Mapusa

The Goa Football Association (GFA) in association with the All India Football Federation (AIFF) will be organising an AFC Goalkeeping Level 1 Course from July 5-10 at Duler Stadium, Mapusa.

The course will be conducted by AFC Instructor, Jalal Basharzad from Iran. Twelve participants have been registered by the AIFF to attend the course.

Local coaches interested in coaching goalkeepers will be allowed to attend the same, but no participation certificates will be given. Refreshments and other stationery costs will be charged at actuals for all attendees who are not registered.

Meanwhile, based on the requests of some clubs to allow more time in the transition phase, it is clarified that original inter-village cards (white in color) would be accepted at inter-village tournaments that have already started before July.

However, it may be noted that, going forward, blue cards have already been made compulsory for participation in all inter-village tournaments that start in the month of July.
