Roberto Carlos to be a player-cum-manager at Delhi Dynamos

Roberto Carlos will return to the football pitch as Delhi Dynamos FC announced that the former Brazil legend will be their marquee player besides being their marquee manager.

The 42 year old was named the manager of Hero Indian Super League (ISL) franchise Sunday and it was revealed on Thursday (July 9) that he would make an comeback as a player.

Indian football fans can hope to see some match action from the FIFA World Cup winner, although he is expected to focus more on coaching the Delhi Dynamos.

Roberto Carlos played his last professional match as footballer for Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala in 2012, before he started his coaching career.
