Shillongt Lajong FC kicks off pre-season training

Shillongt Lajong FC have kick started their pre-season training for the 2015-16 season on Monday (August 3). The first training session was held at the Polo Ground Shillong under the watchful guidance of Head Coach Thangboi Singto.

Being the first day of training after a two month long break for the players, Head Coach Thangboi Singto opted for a very light training session. Majority of the players were seen training with a lot of energy and feeling great to be back with their team mates on the pitch.

The team will be training rigorously for the upcoming Shillong Premier League Super Divison. The Reds are the defending champions after Lajong’s Junior Team won the League in December 2014.

Although, the I-League is still a few months ahead, the club will look forward to plan for the season in advance.

Developing and improving the progress of the current squad for the upcoming season will be the main focus for Lajong.
