With a view to expand the Punjab State Super Football League, the Executive Committee of the Punjab Football Association (PFA) has decided to hold a Qualifying Round with eight teams.
The teams have been drawn into two groups of four. The top two teams from the two respective groups will advance to the knock-out stage to determine the champion team of this round which will be given a berth in the 29th JCT Punjab State Super Football League 2015-16.
QUALIFYING ROUND GROUPS
Group A
• Jagat Singh Palahi Football Academy, Phagwara
• Ludhiana Football Club, Ludhiana
• United Punjab Football Club, Pathankot
• Principal Harbhajan Sporting Club, Mahilpur
Group B
• International Football Club, Phagwara
• SGGS Football Society, Jalandhar
• Sporting Punjab FC, Rurka Kalan
• Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Football Academy, Banga
The Qualifying Round matches will be played at the Guru Hargobind Stadium (G.N.College), Phagwara and the Government School Football Ground, Phagwara from August 10 to 22nd August, 2015.
All matches will kick-off at 16.00 IST.
