NorthEast United FC announced that they have agreed personal terms with Ivory Coast international Boubacar Sanogo. Sanogo has signed a contract that will see him turn out for us in the second edition of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL).

Sanogo brings with himself a wealth of experience having turned out for Bundesliga sides SV Werder Bremen, Hamburger SV, 1. FC Kaiserslautern and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim, besides playing for French side Saint-Étienne and UAE’s Al Ain.

Having played alongside the likes of Didier Drogba, Yaya Touré and Kolo Touré, Sanogo also carries a proven goal-scoring record and big match temperament, having participated in the CAF Africa Cup of Nations, UEFA Champions League and the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
