The Indian national team has gained one spot in the latest FIFA World Ranking.
India is now ranked a joint 155th in the world (27th in Asia) together with Kyrgyzstan. Both countries have 160 points to their name.
Stephen Constantine’s team remains the best team from the South Asian (SAFF) region, ahead of Bhutan (164th), Pakistan (170th), Bangladesh (173rd), Maldives (177th), Sri Lanka (184th) and Nepal (185th).
There have been no changes at the top of the FIFA World Ranking, as Argentina keeps the top spot ahead of Belgium and World Champions Germany. Colombia and Brazil complete the Top 5.
Chile are now ranked 8th to record their highest-ever position since the revision of the FIFA World Ranking in 2006.
The next FIFA World Ranking will be released on October 1, 2015.
