Liverpool FC sign Indian origin Yan Dhanda

Indian origin footballer Yan Dhanda has signed a professional contract with English Premier League side Liverpool FC.

Dhanda, who turned 17 on Monday, joined the LFC Academy from West Bromwich Albion in 2013 to show some exceptional talent. The Birmingham-born youngster prefers to play as a creative midfielder in a number 10 position behind a striker, besides his capability to play as a winger.

He has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract which happens to be his first senior team deal. The young Player of Indian origin has represented England at youth level.

“I want to become the first ever player with Indian heritage to play for Liverpool Football Club,” Dhanda told in an interview with the official club website two years ago and he is close to fulfill his dream.

Congratulations to Yan Dhanda!
