Joachim Löw names provisional Germany squad for UEFA EURO 2016

Germany head coach Joachim Löw has named his provisional squad for the UEFA EURO 2016 which will take place in France from June 10 to July 10, 2016. The announcements was made during a press conference at the French Embassy in Berlin.

The provisional 27-member Germany squad does feature a few surprises including debut senior national team call-ups for Julian Brandt, Joshua Kimmich and Julian Weigl.

The German team will kick-off its preparations at a training camp in Ascona, Switzerland on May 24. Germany will take on Slovakia (May 29) before Löw announces his final squad on May 31.
