AFC U-14 Festival of Football concludes for India U-14 team

The India U-14 Men’s National Team lost 1-2 to hosts Tajikistan in their final match of the AFC U-14 Regional Festival of Football 2016 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan today (May 30, 2016).

Hosts Tajikistan took the lead as early as the 3rd minute to stun the Indian colts as a one versus one chance was converted with ease by the Tajik attack force to make the scoreline read 1-0 in their favour.

Tajikistan pressed the India U-14 team and dominated possession in the midfield. The hosts doubled their lead in the 33rd minute, before India halved their deficit in the 59th minute when Eric blasted home from the penalty kick as the full-time scoreline read 2-1 in Tajikistan’s favour.
