FIFA-MA Referees Fitness Course kicks-off in Gandhinagar

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) organized FIFA-MA Referees Fitness Course kicked-off in Gandhinagar, Gujarat today (June 21, 2016) and is slated to conclude on June 24, 2016. The AIFF will also conduct the same course from June 26-29, 2016.

The Instructor for both the Courses is Ganesan Maniam and 44 members each will participate in both the Courses.

The FIFA-MA Referees Fitness Course aims to improve the fitness levels of Referees in India, whilst enabling them to sync themselves with the modern fitness standards of World Football.

“The FIFA-MA Referees Fitness Course aims to gauge the fitness level of India and improve that”, said Course Instructor Ganesan Maniam. “Fitness stays the key for any top-notch Referee and through this course we wish to impart that knowledge.”

“This is the first of its kind course being conducted in Asia and we are proud to host it”, added AIFF’s Head of Referees Col. (Retd.) Goutam Kar. “The Course will act as a catalyst to the growth of Referees in India and will enable them to master their craft.”
