Mohammedan Sporting sign goalkeeper Vinay Singh

Mohammedan Sporting Club, who are gearing for the forthcoming Calcutta Football League, have boosted their goalkeeping unit with the addition of experienced custodian Vinay Singh.

Hailing from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh the 37 year old is best known for his seven year long stint at Churchill Brothers (2003-2011) where he won the I-League in 2008-09 beside winning the IFA Shield (2010-11) and Durand Cup (2007-08).

Singh has also played for the likes of Salgaocar FC (2011-13) and Shillong Lajong FC (2013-14), before moving to Mohun Bagan AC in 2014 where he stayed till the last season.

Meanwhile, striker Manvir Singh, who joined the 125-year old club from Minerva Academy FC, has started his training with the club today.
