India remain 152nd in latest FIFA World Ranking

India’s FIFA World Ranking remain unchanged in the latest edition of the FIFA World Ranking released by FIFA today.

The Indian national team is ranked 152nd in the world (27th in Asia) behind of Cuba (151st) and ahead of South Sudan and São Tomé e Príncipe who share the 153rd spot.

Afghanistan (150th) is still the best ranked team from the South Asian region ahead of India, the Maldives (174th), Bangladesh (183rd), Nepal (188th), Bhutan (192nd), Sri Lanka (193rd) and Pakistan (194th).

Meanwhile, have been no changes in the Top 20 of the FIFA World Ranking. Argentina kept their spot at the top, while Belgium (2nd), Colombia (3rd), Germany (4th) and Chile (5th) complete the Top 5.

Korea DPR (99th) registered the biggest move by ranks (up 18 ranks), while Cuba made the biggest drop by ranks (down 30 ranks).

The next FIFA World Ranking will be published on September 15.
