Atlético de Kolkata to have new home at Rabindra Sarobar Stadium for ISL 2016

Atlético de Kolkata, champions of the inaugural Hero Indian Super League (ISL) season and last year’s semi-finalists, will create a new fortress at Rabindra Sarobar Stadium as they prepare to begin their campaign for year 2016 under the newly appointed Head Coach José Francisco Molina.

Kolkata’s Rabindra Sarobar Stadium built in 1961, has a capacity of 22,000.

The stadium will hear the thunderous roar of the football loving city as it is set to witness Hero ISL 2016 action on Sunday, 2nd October when the host ATK will take on defending champions Chennaiyin FC.
