Soccerex to partner with Bodega Iniesta at Global Convention

Soccerex are delighted to announce the expansion of their partnership with wine company Bodega Iniesta, started by Barcelona midfield maestro Andrés Iniesta, as an event supporter for the upcoming Global Convention taking place in Manchester, 26th-28th September.

The journey of Bodega Iniesta wines started back in the 1990s, when Andrés Iniesta’s father started the project. It wasn’t until 2010, the same year that Iniesta scored his famous World Cup winning goal, however, that the family dream became a reality. The construction of the Bodega Iniesta wine cellar was complete and the business could begin to manufacture their product.

As part of the deal, the brand will have a heavy presence throughout the event’s many social platforms as well as an exhibition stand on the floor, branding around the building and the entrance to the event, as well as being involved in SoccerMatch, often referred to as the football business version of speed dating, where clubs and brands come together in a series of short pre-arranged meetings.

Bodega Iniesta wine will also be served at the pre-event VIP Dinner, social evenings and also Happy Hours at the end of each day, giving attendees the chance to taste the product whilst continuing their networking in a more informal environment. With 1000 bottles available, event attendees will have plenty of opportunities throughout the event to judge the product for themselves, and develop their business connections over a glass of wine.

The event will also feature unparalleled networking opportunities, via a market-leading international exhibition and a mix of targeted and structured networking sessions. A programme of social events completes the agenda for what is widely acknowledged as the world’s leading football business event.
