Mohammedan Sporting ease past Kanchenjunga FC in Sikkim Governor’s Gold Cup

Kolkata giants Mohammedan Sporting Club open their campaign in the ongoing 36th All India Sikkim Governor’s Gold Cup with a comprehensive 3-0 win over Kanchenjunga FC from Siliguri at the Paljor Stadium in Gangtok.

Kunal Ghosh in the 22nd minute and two goals from striker Manvir Singh (52nd, 90th+2) were on target for the Black Panthers on Sunday afternoon on the artificial turf in the Sikkimese capital.

Mohammedan Sporting will now face local outfit Sikkim Akraman FC in the semifinals on Tuesday, October 25 at the same venue for a place in the finals.
