India stay 137th in latest FIFA World Ranking

The Indian national team stay in 137th position (22nd in Asia) behind Madagascar and ahead of El Salvador in the latest FIFA World Ranking.

India remain the best team from South Asia ahead of Afghanistan (147th), Maldives (154th), Bhutan (176th), Nepal (181st), Bangladesh (183rd), Sri Lanka (195th) and Pakistan (197th).

Meanwhile, Argentina stay top of the FIFA World Ranking with 1,621 points, ahead of Brazil (1,544 pts) and FIFA World Cup winners Germany (1,433 pts). Chile (4th, 1,404 pts) and Belgium (5th, 1,382 pts) complete the Top 5.

The next FIFA World Ranking will be published on December 22, 2016.
