All India Football Federation implements Coach Registration System

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has implemented a Coach Registration System, a database software, for online registration and monitoring of licensed coaches in India with effect from January 2017 in a quest to create and maintain exemplary standard of coaches in Indian football. Licensed coaches can access the database through the portal: http://coaching.the-aiff.com

The database software is introduced to create a database for all existing licensed Indian coaches, both domestic and abroad, to not only keep a count of them, but also monitor and track their activities.

The new portal not only helps in the upload of documents and information on a common platform but also helps the licensed coaches to apply for AIFF organized courses. Coaches can also edit and update their profiles in the database software.

This system will narrow down the search and help streamline the coach performance data along with their coaching activities. The system will enable coaches to apply for future courses after validation of their registration procedure and it will provide public access for interested stakeholders including clubs and associations to view the status and brief profile of each registered coach.

The AIFF had produced 4000 AIFF and AFC coaches in 2016 and with the steady increase in the number of coaches and coaching courses every year, it was imperative that licensed coaches be properly tracked, classified and documented according to their license, certificates and employment status.
