adidas recruits top young designers to the adidas Design Academy

adidas is recruiting the best young designers in the world to the adidas Design Academy, a 24-month program focusing on apparel, footwear, color and materials or graphics.

This hands-on experience gives designers a chance to create, invent and break new ground with adidas’ existing design teams – and possibly even land a job at adidas after the program. The adidas Design Academy will have programs at the brand’s two major design hubs: the adidas North America headquarters in Portland, Ore. and the global headquarters in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

The adidas Design Academy includes multiple rotations with several major design studios, including one assignment abroad in a location such as Shanghai or Tokyo. Participants will also gain cross-functional knowledge in a 4-week rotation within one of adidas’ Brand Design, Product Marketing, Product Development or Innovation teams.

The deadline to apply is April 15, 2017 and the program begins October 1, 2017. Candidates must include a portfolio (website or PDF) and a resume to be considered. Candidates will be selected based on fit and eligibility. Application details are here:
