AIFF invites Expression of Interest from clubs for Indian Women’s League

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is inviting Expression of Interest from clubs for the second edition of the Indian Women’s League (IWL). Interested clubs are hereby requested to submit their interest to participate on their Official letterhead by May 1, 2017.

The inaugural edition of the Indian Women’s League which kicked-off on January 28, 2017 saw six clubs vie for the title of champions which finally went to Eastern Sporting Union after the Manipuri outfit had defeated Rising Student’s Club 3-0. The league not only gave the rising popularity of Women’s Football in India a platform, but also provided young players with immense match experience under competitive environment.

Clubs interested to participate in the second edition of Indian Women’s League can submit their application at indu@the-aiff.com.
