Mohammedan Sporting Club to play first pre-season game on Friday

Mohammedan Sporting Club to play their first pre-season game on Friday as they prepares for the forthcoming 2017/18 Calcutta Football League. The Black Panthers will take on fellow Calcutta Premier Division outfit Rainbow Athletic Club at the Kalyani Stadium at 15.30 IST.

This will be Biswajit Bhattacharya’s first game in charge after making a return to the helm of 126-year-old club for the first time since 2008/09.

Mohammedan SC are currently in Kalyani for a residential training camp. The Black Panthers began non-residential training sessions at club ground on 30 June, 2017 before heading to Kalyani last Monday (July 10).

The team has been revitalized after being joined by former India striker Manandeep Singh and currently having double sessions under the guidance of head coach Biswajit Bhattacharya to fine tune the players ahead of the new season.
