WIFA to conduct pre-qualifiers to select teams for Indian Women’s League

The Western India Football Association (WIFA) have announced that they will be conducting the Pre-Qualifiers League to select teams to participate in the Preliminary Round of the Indian Women’s League (IWL) 2017-18.

The qualifiers will commence from 7th August 2017 at The Cooperage Stadium, Mumbai. WIFA has further asked the following clubs to have their teams ready for the tournament. Kenkre Football Club, Football School of India, Tiger Sports Academy, Football Leaders Academy, PIFA Sports Private Limited, Colaba Sports League, Bodyline FC and Rush Soccer is the eight teams which will be participating in the Pre-Qualifiers.

On 22nd July 2017, a meeting is scheduled to take place at The Cooperage Stadium of the managers of the participating teams to apprise the teams with the modalities of the tournament.

With the recently concluded WIFA Women’s Championship, this is yet another opportunity for the girls to come out and prove themselves on a grand stage.
