Rajasthan now has it’s first AIFF Match Commissioner

In the history of Rajasthan, football has been center of attraction in the 70’s when Rajasthan had representation in the National Team as well. After so many years of struggle the Rajasthan Football Association (RFA) got mobilized and has started making the mark in the field of football again.

Robin Xavier, Joint Secretary for Rajasthan FA and President for Jalore District Football Association, has cleared the exam conducted by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and has become a certified AIFF Match Commissioner. Now he will be taking up assignments for AIFF organized National Matches/Tournaments and then move on to the I-League, Indian Super League (ISL) and AFC matches as he grows in the system and gain experience. AIFF had total of 50 candidates shortlisted for this Seminar at Mumbai and Kolkatta and only 24 Candidates have cleared with Robin being the only one representing Rajasthan.

“Robin is a football enthusiast and has always been a go getter who believes that technology can bring a big change in the system. We want to wish Robin good Luck and a great future as he starts this new journey being a Match Commissioner for AIFF,” the RFA stated in an official release.
