India Women’s coach Maymol Rocky: Girls look to be in great shape

The Indian Women’s National Team, currently in Malaysia played a 2-2 draw in an unofficial match on Friday. The next match, the International Friendly between the two teams is slated for July 31.

Trailing at the interval, India equalised through Mandakini Devi before Kamala Devi put them ahead. However, Malaysia restored parity in the dying minutes.

Head Coach Maymol Rocky was pleased with the effort put in by the girls.

“The girls are in good shape and we have acclimatised ourselves to the weather conditions,” she said. “We look ahead to the next match.”
