Lionel Messi bid farewell to Neymar Jr. on Instagram after FC Barcelona confirmed that the Brazil star has told the club of his intention to leave the club using a €222 million buy-out clause in his contract.

Messi posted an emotional slideshow which features various unforgettable moments of their time together at Barcelona.

“It was an enormous pleasure to have shared these years with you Neymar, friend. I wish you a lot of luck in the next stage of your life. See you. TKM,” the Argentine superstar wrote on Instagram.

“TKM” is the short for “te quiero mucho” which means “love you a lot.”

Neymar Jr. is expected to join Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain, while a confirmation of the transfer is pending.
