Indian origin midfielder Harmeet Singh joins Kalmar FF

Indian origin midfielder Harmeet Singh has joined Swedish Allsvenskan club Kalmar FF. The Norwegian international was presented at a press conference at the Guldfågeln Arena a few days ago.

Singh joined Wisła Płock in March 2017, but terminated his 18-month contract with the Polish side after only two months and one game played “due to personal and family reasons”.

“It feels very good to be here. I have received a very good first impression of the club and everyone in the team has received me well. Now I am looking forward to get started,” said Singh, who was once cnsidered as one of the biggest talents in Norwegian football.

The son of Punjabi immigrants signed a contract which keeps him at the club for the next 1,5 years and he will be donning the number 22 jersey.
