FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 – Matchday 13 – Round-up

Mali and England have booked their spot in the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017 semi-finals.

Mali dominated their quarter-final match against Ghana and registered a 2-1 win under difficult weather conditions at the Indira Gandhi Athletic Stadium in Guwahati. Hadji Drame and Djemoussa Traore scored the goals for the Eaglets in their 2-1 win against the their West African rivals.

England advanced to the semi-finals of a FIFA U-17 World Cup for the first time as Liverpool’s Rhian Brewster scored a hat-trick in an impressive 4-1 win against the United States.

Mali will face the winner of the Spain v Iran match, while England gear up for a highlight against the winner of the mouth-watering quarter-final Germany v Brazil. Both semi-finals will be played on Wednesday.
