Hero Sub-Junior League (U-13)

Chennaiyin FC U-13s come from behind to make it two in a row

Chennaiyin FC’s U-13 side overturned a one-goal deficit to beat RV Soccer School 5-1 in an U-13 Youth League match played at the SSN College Ground today.

CFC trailed 1-0 at half-time, but bounced back in stunning fashion after the interval courtesy a hat-trick of goals from Surya and one goal each from Liyakaath and Teejeshwar.

The second-half turnaround means the Chennaiyin boys have now made it two wins out of two in the Under 13 Youth League, following up on their 2-0 victory over Football Plus in the opener. This triumph also rounds up three wins in as many days for CFC’s senior team, Under 15s and now the Under 13s.

The Chennaiyin U-13s will now be looking to repeat their performance from the opening game, when they take on Football Plus at the SSN College Ground on December 3.
