FIFA President Gianni Infantino expressed his “deepest condolences,” on the death of former All India Football Federation (AIFF) President Priya Ranjan Dasmunsi who passed away after a prolonged illness.
In a letter to AIFF President Praful Patel, Infantino wrote: “On behalf of FIFA and the worldwide family of football, I wish to extend our deepest condolences to the All India Football Federation, and most importantly, to his family, friends and loved ones.”
“We hope that, in some way, our words of support may help bring a little bit of peace and solace in this time of sadness,” he further wrote.
