Saran Sports’ Sanjiv Saran Mehra felicitated by the Mayor of London Sadiq Khan

December 3rd, 2017 was a red letter day for Indian sports entrepreneurship as one of its premier entrepreneur and sports event manager Sanjiv Saran Mehra, CEO & Founder, Saran Sports was recognized for his pioneering services and contributions in fostering Indo-British Football Initiatives by the First Citizen of London and it’s first Asian Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Sanjiv’s prominent role in conceptualizing and managing the QPR South Mumbai Junior Soccer Challenger (A Milind Deora Initiative) uninterrupted since 2009 in partnership with the footballing giants Queens Park Rangers FC, London greatly influenced this unique recognition from Sadiq Khan.

The tournament is today the India’s largest community football championship with almost 1/3rd of the participants being girls and over 80% from the economically challenged students of the government and BMC aided schools. This apart Sanjiv Saran Mehra and his Saran Sports have been doing pioneering work in sports event management with some of the most unique concepts among different sets of community and professionals.
