AIFF to conduct Player Compensation and Solidarity Workshop

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) will conduct a two-day workshop for clubs of Hero Indian Super League, Hero I-League, Second Division League and AIFF Accredited Academies on Player Compensation and Solidarity Programme on December 9 & 10, 2017. The workshop will also aim to introduce and implement the programme in the Youth Development structure of Indian football.

The workshop is being conducted in association with Asian Football Confederation (AFC) who would be represented by Darren Bailey, Leading consultant and Expert on Training Compensation and Yogesh Desai, Development Officer, AFC. Bailey has been engaged in preparing a training compensation and solidarity model tailored to suit Indian football and will be presenting his findings and proposition to all stakeholders at the workshop for further discussion and eventual implementation.

The workshop will be attended by the invited CEOs or Heads of Operations of various clubs and academies from I-League, Second Division League, ISL and AIFF Accredited Academies and will also include interactive sessions with clubs and academies including exchange of ideas in creating a robust Player Compensation and Solidarity System.
