AIFF condoles the death of Manipur’s Ranjit Roy

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) condoles the demise of former AIFF Executive Committee member Ranjit Roy who passed away earlier today (December 30, 2017).

Roy served as an Executive Committee member of the AIFF for two successive terms from 2008 to 2016. He also served as the Secretary and the General Secretary of the All Manipur Football Association (AMFA) from 2005 onwards.

A person who approached Football with great sincerity, Roy will always be remembered for the implementation of the AFC’s Vision Asia Programme in Manipur.

All India Football Federation General Secretary Kushal Das in his message said: “It’s sad to hear that Mr. Roy is no more. He was a passionate and capable administrator and Indian Football owes him a lot. May his soul rest in peace.”
