Chennaiyin FC U-13s end the year with sixth consecutive win

Chennaiyin FC’s U-13 team ended the year with a comfortable 6-0 victory over Mahogany FC in the U-13 Youth League at the SSN College Ground today. This was the first meeting between both sides this season.

High on confidence after a huge 18-0 victory over Oyyabo Sports last time out, CFC were ahead in no time courtesy Mohd. Liyaakath’s opening goal. Two goals in two minutes by K. Surya took the scoreline to 3-0, before Liyaakath netted a second to end the first half 4-0 in Chennaiyin’s favour.

Liyaakath completed his hat-trick soon after the interval, making it 5-0 to CFC. Caron Kennedy added further gloss to the scoreline ten minutes before the final whistle, making it 6-0 to the boys in blue.

The result sees the Chennaiyin FC U-13s finish the year on a high, top of the points table with 18 points and a 100% record.
