AIFF holds workshop on Baby League and Youth Development in Aizawl

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) in association with Mizoram Football Association (MFA) held a workshop for Grassroots, Baby League and Youth Development at the R Dengthuama Hall, Mualpui, Aizawl on January 20, 2018.

AIFF Chief Operating Officer Kishore Taid and Head of Players Development Richard Hood gave detailed insights on the subject while FIFA South Asia Development Manager Prince Rufus also spoke of the views of FIFA regarding the development of Baby Leagues.

The workshop was attended by MFA, District FA, SSA Grassroots, Tata Trusts, MPL Clubs and football coaches.

The need for a change in the current system of youth development in the country and the need for new and innovative ways in bringing up young talent in the sport was issued as well as opening up futsal for the young kids to further their development.
