Andreas Köpke to carry out DFB-Pokal semifinal draw at Deutsches Fußballmuseum

German national team goalkeeper coach Andreas Köpke will carry out the DFB-Pokal (German Cup) semifinal draw at the Deutsches Fußballmuseum (German Football Museum) in Dortmund on Sunday evening. The will be broadcasted live on German national tv channel ARD in their show Sportschau with Alexander Bommes hosting the broadcast.

Record champions FC Bayern Munich, Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt and FC Schalke 04 booked their spots in the semifinals with victories in their respective quarterfinal matches.

Bayern Munich scored a convincing 6-0 win against 3rd Division (3. Liga) side SC Paderborn on Tuesday, while Bayer Leverkusen turned their game against Werder Bremen around to register a 4-2 win after extra-time on the same day. Eintracht Frankfurt had no difficulties in their quarterfinal match against FSV Mainz 05 (3-0), whereas Schalke had to settle for a close 1-0 win against VfL Wolfsburg.

The semifinal matches are scheduled to take place on April 17 and 18. The Final will take place at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin on May 19.
