AIFF organises FIFA Refreshers Course on International Women’s Day

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the All India Football Federation is organising a FIFA Refreshers Course at the Barabati Stadium in Cuttack, Odisha. The five-day course which began on March 7, 2018 will run till March 11, 2018.

A total of 25 select coaches are attending the Course, with AFC Observer Ms. Anja Palusevic also in attendance. The coaches have been chosen from among the ones who were present during the Hero IWL Qualifiers 2017-18 and the Senior Women’s NFC 2017-18. Few former National Team are also among the participants.

The AIFF is totally committed towards the development of Women Football in the country and this is one of the several initiatives being undertaken to Champion the cause of the Women’s game in India.

The course is aimed at revising and updating the coaches on relevant coaching methods and training techniques. The coaches will go through a self-evaluation process and also involves exchanging of ideas with others present at the course.
