One of the standout performers in the fourth season of the Hero Indian Super League (ISL), Lalruatthara has signed a new contract with Kerala Blasters FC, which will keep him at the club till 2021.

Lalruatthara was one of the first few picks in the player draft and made his debut in season four of Hero ISL after good performances in the Hero I-League. He became a big hit with the massive Kerala Blasters fans right from the time he made his debut for the club.

On signing the long-term contract, Lalruatthara said, “I am delighted to extend my contract with Kerala Blasters. I fell in love with the club and the fans from the very beginning. The fans here are the best and it is an honour to play in front of such fans and wear the Blasters jersey everytime. Kerala is home for me now for the next few years and I am looking forward to helping the club win titles and be part of the exciting journey ahead.”

Commenting on this development, head coach David James said, “It is great news that Lalruatthara has extended his contract with Kerala Blasters. After his outstanding debut season in the Indian Super League, the signing of Lalruatthara will form part of the foundations, as Kerala Blasters look to build for future success.“
