Mizoram welcomes FIFA Technical Consultant Chokey Nima

The Mizoram Football Association (MFA) yesterday welcomed FIFA Technical Consultant for South Asia, Chokey Nima who arrived at Aizawl in the afternoon.

Chokey Nima will conduct a detailed survey of the recent development of football in Mizoram where he will also visit various infrastructures. He is being accompanied by AIFF Head of Player Development Richard Hood.

He visited the AIFF-MFA Grassroots Centre at Lammual yesterday afternoon where he met with MFA Grassroots & Youth Development Committee to discuss the furthering of grassroots football.

He will visit the Centre of Excellence set up by Tata Trusts at Mualpui later today as well as have meetings with both the MFA’s Women’s Committee and Futsal Committee.

The FIFA Technical Consultant Chokey Nima will also have a session with football coaches who hold AFC and AIFF licenses in the evening.
